About Zilyin Daraga
Zilyin is a teacher, herbalist, aromatherapist, phytotherapist, and ethnobotanist from Madagascar and Réunion Island. He has traveled extensively to study traditional medicine worldwide and recently published his first book, Pouvoirs et Sagesse des Plantes (Larousse Edition).
He currently cultivates over 200 endemic and indigenous medicinal plant species in the mountains of Réunion Island and leads projects to improve life quality for communities on Madagascar’s east coast. Zilyin spent 15 years in Quebec, studying herbalism with Anny Schneider and aromatherapy with Mikael Zayat, and worked for 10 years at Zayat Aroma Laboratory.
