Level 1 Student Graduation Requirements
As part of our commitment to providing comprehensive aromatherapy education, we have established the following graduation requirements for Level 1 students:
- Case Studies: Students are required to complete a minimum of 5 case studies, providing practical application of their acquired knowledge.
- Research Paper: A 3-5 page research paper is to be submitted, allowing students to delve into a specific topic and showcase their understanding.
- Examination: Students must sit for and successfully pass a Level 1 examination administered by the school, assessing their grasp of essential aromatherapy concepts.
- Continuing Education Hours: Graduates are expected to submit proof of completing 5 NAHA (National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy) approved continuing education hours, ensuring their ongoing professional development.
These requirements ensure a well-rounded educational experience, preparing students for success in the field of aromatherapy.
Required elements for Level 2 student graduation based upon approved standards in aromatherapy education
2.1 Students must complete a 5-10 page research paper (pertaining to an aromatherapy topic).
2.2 Students must complete a minimum of 10 case studies in addition to the required Level 1 case studies for a total minimum of 20
2.3 Students must study a minimum of 20 essential oil profiles in addition to required Level I essential oils for a total minimum of 40.
2.4 Students must sit for and pass a Level 2 examination offered by the school.
2.5 Graduates must submit proof of completion of 10 NAHA approved continuing education hours (CEs) per year

- Botany (specifically taxonomy)
- Essential oil chemistry
- Properties of essential oils within a holistic and professional framework
- Blending techniques
- Diluents such as vegetable oils and other carrier bases
- Methods of application (inhalation, diffusion, topical, optional: internal)
- Safety issues (including dermal, respiratory and internal use)
- Consultation and client education program design
- Anatomy & Physiology 2 ,The Reproductive System; The Cardiovascular System; The Lymphatic System & The Immune System; The Urinary System; The Digestive System, The Respiratory System, The Skeletal System, The Integumentary System, The Nervous System and The Endocrine system.
