NAHA-approved means this curriculum meets their educational standards for safe and professional practice. It’s a recognized credential in the field, and a required foundation for those pursuing NAHA’s higher certification levels.

The program includes 75 hours of 32 hours immersive in-person Saturdays & 43 hours online study you can complete at your own pace. You’ll have lifetime access to the course materials, allowing you to learn in a way that fits your schedule and lifestyle

Yes. To earn your certificate, you’ll complete case studies, a research assignment, and a final open-book exam. The exam is open-book because the goal is to demonstrate understanding, not to test memorization under pressure. Instructor support is available throughout.

This is a strong and recognized foundation for professional work. Whether it allows you to practice professionally also depends on your location and local regulations. Many graduates use this certification as part of an existing wellness practice, or continue to Level 2 and Level 3 for a fuller clinical credential.

You don’t need to purchase essential oils to begin the program. During your in-person classes, you’ll have the opportunity to explore, smell, and experiment with a variety of oils through guided hands-on activities and blending experiences. A student kit may also be available for those who would like to continue practicing at home
